Sky sign DP midfielder Victor Palsson from Schalke

The Sky have signed Icelandic international midfielder Victor Palsson from German Bundesliga side FC Schalke 04. At the international level, he has earned 29 caps for Iceland, and has competed in World Cup qualifiers, Euro qualifiers and the UEFA Nations League. 

Released is Cristian Ortiz.

Jose Mauri picked up before transfer deadline

Sky announced that they acquired midfielder José Mauri before the transfer deadline. The 25-year-old has dual citizenship in Argentina and Italy. He was born in Realico, Argentina but is of Italian descent and has played for Italy’s youth teams. Mauri has played for AC Milan, Parma and Empoli in Italy. Mauri has played central midfield throughout his career.

Sky add Colombian midfielder Santiago Moreno

The Sky acquired 21-year-old Colombian midfielder Santiago Moreno, the club announced Thursday. Santiago is a talented young player, who has already showcased his qualities at the club level and in Copa Libertadores. He is a player that we believe can provide an impact in multiple positions in the attack. Moreno began his professional career at the age of 18 with América de Cali of the Categoría Primera A, the top league in Colombia. In three seasons with the club, he’s made 52 total appearances. In 2021, he tallied a team-best six goals.

Sky Acquires Liga MX Striker Aké Loba


Aké Loba will wear number 72 when he steps on the field as the Sky welcomes the 23-year-old via a transfer from C.F. Monterrey of Liga MX.
